About the Workshop

• Add to your bouquet from a wide variety of home grown (not flown) blooms.

• All floral materials provided including a mini white pumpkin.

• Step by step instructions from Ursula who will help you create your own unique and original pumpkin bouquet that you take with you at the end of the workshop.

What to Bring

• Small garden shears/clippers if you have your own! We do not have enough for everyone!

• Garden gloves if you have sensitivity to sap or flowers

Calling all budding florists! Would you like to create your own sunflower arrangement, and express your creativity in flowers? Then you need to come along to our Kids Floral Workshop to learn how to cut and care for your flowers, then create your own unique arrangement to take home. This workshop is designed for you to attend with an adult for support and any tricky bits, but the creative inspiration will be all yours, with guidance from our sunflower expert Ursula Kressibucher, owner of The Sunflower Farm. Munch on a scrumptious, kid-friendly charcuterie board while you work, with refreshments for both you and your grown up to enjoy.

Please note, this workshop is suitable for children 8 yrs and up, who are competent to use sharp snips, and must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop.

Support local businesses and find one-of-a-kind treasures while surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of The Sunflower Farm.

We only host two Market Days at the farm so make sure to purchase your regular farm entrance tickets to stop by and shop on August 2nd & 3rd!

Did you know we have a secret garden? Well, almost. The Sunflower Farm has created a private trail, which you can book for your own special occasion. Available by the hour, the private trail is yours exclusively, for proposals, engagements, birthday celebrations, showers, weddings, whatever your heart desires. 

The area is closed to the general public, and only used for limited events, so can be staged to suit your requirements, although the stunning backdrop of a sea of golden sunflowers takes some beating! (Please note, you would need to supply and remove any props for your booking).

The private trail area holds a maximum capacity of 25 people, and your booking fee includes entry for up to 15 guests. There will be a small vintage couch for photos, folding tables and chairs for 15 guests. The Sunflower Farm also has an onsite florist, who can create floral arrangements if required; please contact us to discuss your requirements with our friendly and helpful team.

If you would like to arrange a catered picnic, we would be happy to recommend our partner picnic team, to help cater for your event. Please ask for more details.

What could be more enchanting than a luxury picnic with friends or that special someone, set amongst fields of golden sunflowers? Indulge yourself by booking a table for 2 or join with friends at a table for 4 or 6 people, and let us provide the treats! Each table, situated in our private reserved farm area, may be booked for  an hour and a half, with a variety of timeslots and dates available to suit you. Our friendly and discreet farm staff will ensure your table is set ready for you with a variety of savoury and sweet treats, plus non alcoholic beverages, prepared by The Shortiss Cafe, located in Beaverton. We are able to accommodate gluten free and allergy requirements, please note at the time of booking if you have specific dietary requirements.
